Shoreline Early Learning Center at Saybrook

At Shoreline Early Learning Center, our preschool program is designed to encourage children to learn and explore in a very hands-on, process-oriented, and meaningful ways, while incorporating the CT Early Learning & Developmental Standards. Our preschool program focuses on the whole child. Learning is geared specifically toward the child’s age and developmental level. It is our goal to ensure our preschoolers thrive academically while developing important social and emotional skills, in a positive learning environment.

In our Preschool 3’s class, your child will be introduced to skills necessary for pre-kindergarten readiness. With more choices and independence, they will create more challenging, multiple step projects, build confidence in their abilities, and form meaningful friendships through play based experiences. Whether they are playing together in our dramatic play center, cutting and creating with scissors, mastering challenging puzzles, being an active participant in science, letting their inner artist out, or interacting with friends during music, there will never be a time they aren’t learning life lessons.

We have created our flexible daily schedule to allow room for each preschooler to grow and learn at their own pace, while focusing on their interests and journey towards meeting milestones. While each new day brings it own activities, our daily routine looks like the following:
